Hi I’m Mia, a Vinyasa, Yin and Myofascial Release Yoga Teacher.
I’m here to introduce you to the wonderful world of Yoga.
I hold a strong passion for mindfulness and the empowerment through the practice of Yoga.
I adore being able to help students find their calm, on their own terms, on and off the mat.
In class and workshops you can expect a focus on breath work, the alignment of the Asana (poses), as well as sound healing, deep stretching and meditation.
As you get to know me, I’m a big goofball and love having a giggle but as a busy mum of 4 children…. Yoga is where its at for me.
So why The Yoga Project Australia?
For me that’s easy, Yoga has always flowed in and out of my life, it has always been a ‘project’ of mine.
Yoga helps me bring more awareness to daily life, to exercise mind and body, to better understand how to ground myself, to deal with depression and anxiety, to deal with sickness and chronic pain, and most of all to see the joy in life.
Since completing my training, my yoga project has grown, and now gives me a platform to serve from, teach from and most of all mindfully embody the practice from.
I believe that we never stop learning, never stop growing and by having a ‘project’ it gives me a fun way to funnel me energy into a place that serves others and myself.
There is plenty planned for The Yoga Project Australia, and I honestly can not wait to share it with you all.
